MBA with Marketing specialisation is one of the most sought after specialisation at SIBM-H. Since inception in 2014, the strength of students opting for Marketing specialisation has been on the upswing Year On Year. Faculty: Marketing Dept. is driven by highly experienced & accomplished faculty members who bring in rich blend of theory and practice into Teaching Learning Process. With a combined experience of more than 60 years of excellence in corporate world, Research, Teaching, Mentoring, coaching and counselling, the faculty members apply themselves in grooming the next generation change makers and marketing champions.
Pedagogy adopted in delivering courses in marketing has a judicious mix of conceptual grounding by lectures using audio visual aids/gamification etc. Application orientation is through use of case studies, simulations and Experiential Learning through field studies/Experiments/ Project Works. Self-learning modules and coaching through active Corporate mentoring and experience sharing sessions.

Student club activities go a long way in creating a conducive environment for peer learning and knowledge sharing.
Continuous Corporate Engagement from design to delivery of course is a major distinction of this department and of SIBM-H.
Placement: Industry engagement and acceptance is the forte of good B Schools and SIBM-H is a shining example of it. SIBM-H Marketing students have made a mark in their Summer Projects and Placements in the corporate world, which is evidenced by the increasing number of Corporates recruiting Marketing specialization students with increasing average pay package/stipend year on year.
Our Corporate Associations
Apart from Academics, there are a lot of extracurricular and co-curricular activities, which are conducted in the Marketing Department. Most of the events are students driven. At the forefront of such activities is the Marketing Club "7PM".
Students' Club 7 PM makes its vibrant presence by conducting various events and activities regularly. These events are a blend of fun and learning, which enable the students to showcase and horne their marketing skills.

Marketing Department, regularly conducts seminars, talks, conferences, which provide valuable inputs to students and enhances their Marketing acumen. National Research Conference on Digital Marketing – Digicon is once such conference.

Budding Marketing Managers are encouraged to actively participate in various B-School competitions, seminars/conferences and events. Our students have excelled and made a mark in marketing by bringing lot of laurels and awards competing with their peer group from the top B-Schools in India. A few are listed below.

Ms. Sowmya (Batch 2016-18) and Mr. Rupesh Jha (Batch 2015-17) represented SIBM-H at the CMO (Chief Marketing Officers) Summit'2016 and bagged the award for the best Marketing presentation beating Prominent Schools.
Mr.Tabriz Mohta (Batch 2016-18) and Ms.Erica Fernandez (Batch 2017-19) have Won Best Summer Internship Project awards in the IMCI Best SIP Awards Contest in 2017 and 2018, overcoming competition from Top Business School Students.
