Symbinar - Mr. Dinesh Menon

As a part of the live webinar series ‘Symbinar’, SIBMH hosted Mr. Dinesh Menon, Head HR, Metals Business Signode India Limited, to discuss on the role of and HR professional in a ‘New Normal' lifestyle. Mr. Menon shared his own experiences when it comes to the transition he has faced and experienced as a HR professional due to the outbreak of the global pandemic. While we all are coming to terms with the new normal of work from home that involves us to be available at different times as the lines have blurred between office and home, he stressed on the fact that the upcoming generation of HR professionals will have to be flexible and adaptive as change is the only certainty. Further he elaborated on the HR practices at the firm and how Signode has been able to handle this challenge and continued its operations smoothly. There was also the idea floated when it came to immersive learning for the students. The Q&A session was interactive where the students asked questions that were intellectually stimulating.
