Mission:

In this new age mindset, wherein the Entrepreneurs and the Intrapreneurs are the real deal- breakers, SCEI-Samarthya organizes activities that enable students to take this leap of faith in the excitingly uncertain world of Entrepreneurship.

Vision:

SCEI-Samarthya aims to promote the entrepreneurship and learning culture in and around the campus by providing multiple platforms to budding entrepreneurs where they can improve upon their business models, get mentorship by successful entrepreneurs, interact with investors, and groom their entrepreneurship skills and advanced learning.

Objectives:

  • Induce a spirit of entrepreneurship among students by guiding them with the required knowledge and resources.
  • Explore investment opportunities to support new ventures and promote innovation.
  • To channel student resources for fund-generation activities.
  • Conduct value-based learning programs and workshops to enhance the skill set and entrepreneurial ability among students.

INDIA STARTUP FESTIVAL, 2023

Objective: The ISF Curtain Raiser Event, held on June 29, 2023, at T-Hub in Hyderabad, aimed to provide students from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad (SIBM-H), with a platform to engage and volunteer in a high-profile entrepreneurial event. This event was designed to foster a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, offering them invaluable exposure and networking opportunities with industry leaders and stakeholders.

Outcome: The event successfully provided a unique and impactful experience for SIBM-H students. A notable highlight was the participation of Sakshi Kavadiya, a memberof Samarthya, who volunteered at the event. Sakshi seized the opportunity to present her artwork to JA Chowdary, Chairman of the India Startup Festival. Impressed by her talent and creativity, Mr. Chowdary offered her a stall to exhibit her artwork at the main event of the India Startup Festival in Bangalore, 2023. This remarkable achievement underscores the event's success in promoting student talent and entrepreneurial spirit, paving the way for future opportunities and collaborations.

INCEPT 2.0

SCEI Samarthya, SIBM Hyderabad's entrepreneurship cell, organized "Incept 2.0" to encourage students to brainstorm innovative ideas and connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Guest speaker Mr. Srinivas Taluka from T-Hub discussed "Turning Ideas into Impactful Realities," highlighting T-Hub's support for startups through mentorship, funding, and collaborative spaces

Objective: The primary goal of INCEPT 2.0, organized by SCEI Samarthya, the entrepreneurship cell of SIBM Hyderabad, was to ignite creative problem-solving and foster connections that transform innovative ideas into tangible, positive realities across diverse fields. By bringing together students and industry experts, the event aimed to inspire and equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to turn their ideas into impactful ventures.

Outcome: The event was a resounding success, equipping students with practical skills for transforming ideas into reality. Attendees gained valuable insights into the support available for entrepreneurs through Telangana's T-Hub, including mentorship, funding, and collaborative spaces. The event also facilitated a collaboration between SCEI Samarthya and T-Hub, promising greater support and resources for aspiring entrepreneurs at SIBM Hyderabad. The engaging Q&A session allowed students to deepen their understanding of entrepreneurship and startup implementation, setting the stage for future innovation and collaboration.

ISB VISIT

Spark 2023, hosted by ISB Hyderabad's Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club, connected students, entrepreneurs, and professionals through networking, insightful panels, and inspiring stories. Attendees gained knowledge about the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and practical advice from successful founders and investors, leaving them motivated and equipped to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

Objective:

The platform aims to foster networking among students, entrepreneurs, and professionals interested in entrepreneurship and venture capital, while also providing valuable knowledge and insights.

Outcome:

The event fostered idea exchange, collaboration, and valuable contacts, offering insights into entrepreneurship and venture capital, inspiring budding entrepreneurs, and raising awareness about the Indian startup ecosystem.

PITCH PERFECT 2.0

SCEI Samarthya, the entrepreneurship cell of SIBM Hyderabad, recently hosted an event called "Pitch Perfect 2.0". Aspiring student entrepreneurs were allowed to showcase their innovative business ideas during the event. The atmosphere was filled with passion, creativity, and a fierce drive for success, making it a thrilling experience for all. "Pitch Perfect 2.0" was an excellent platform for highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit among the students and was a great success.

Objective: To facilitate innovation and entrepreneurial spirit by offering a platform for participants to pitch their products and ideas, fostering a culture of creativity and business acumen.

T-HUB VISIT (SHE THE PEOPLE TV)

SHETHEPEOPLETV The Digital Women Awards 2023 celebrated women entrepreneurs who have excelled in the digital domain through technology and Al. Themed 'Access to Success, the event at T-Hub, Hyderabad, on November 18, spotlighted women contributing to technological advancements. A keynote address by Neha Barjatya, and a candid fireside chat with Sangita Reddy and Shaili Chopra, added layers to the vibrant canvas.

VENTURE VISTA

Objective: The purpose of this event was to create a comfortable environment for the students of the batch 2023-25 and to understand the entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial skill set of the batch.

Outcome: The students were able to connect by challenging their analytical and technical skills, making the event an effective way to introduce the new batch and encourage conversation. The event was immensely anticipated and successfully executed.

Wanderpreneur:

Objective: Wanderpreneur, organized by SCEI Samarthya, aimed to ignite entrepreneurial passion among participants by offering a platform to pitch innovative solutions in the tourism industry. The event's goal was to identify pain points in specific destinations and craft creative solutions through a series of online quizzes and offline challenges. By fostering a supportive environment, Wanderpreneur sought to enhance participants' communication and presentation skills, empowering them to revolutionize the travel and hospitality sector.

Outcome: The Wanderpreneur event was a resounding success, sparking excitement and enthusiasm for innovative solutions in tourism. Participants were empowered to become entrepreneurs, gaining a deep understanding of the importance of innovation in the industry.
