Research Initiatives

•   To build upon research culture, knowledge generation, wealth creation, social mobilization and interdisciplinary approach, the University has made provisions of awarding fellowships/research assistantships.
•   By integrating teaching, research, innovation and applications, and with the help of inter and intra institutional collaborations, Symbiosis aims to build on existing strengths and continue to produce quality publications.
•   SIU has made major headway into the field of research by establishing the Symbiosis Centre for Research & Innovation (SCRI) in 2011 with the main objective of promoting high quality research and encouraging the faculty to undertake increasing research activities.
•   SIBM- Hyderabad has been instrumental in building a research culture and environment in its program. Understanding the significance of interdisciplinary research, our faculty members are producing Quality Research and Publishing in both National and International Conferences, and Journals.
•   Further, students are trained on topics and modules that specifically focus on research and business analytics that could help to solve major business problems. SIBM- H aims to differentiate itself through this unique proposition of Research Based Teaching- Learning Process.
•   SIBM-H is one of the few B-schools that focuses not just on practical learning but also emphasizes immensely on the importance of research. Through the case method teaching approach, live projects with corporate, and multiple research projects embedded in the curriculum, students have many opportunities to explore the various facets of research studies and gather in-depth understanding of application of research in business scenarios.
