Event Name: Ganesh Chaturthi

Objective:

The objective of the event was to bid goodbye to Bappa after 5 days of worship, devotion and festivities. The visarjan would be marked by Team Vibe, Antardhwani’s dance vertical’s energizing performance.

Outcome:

Team Vibe put up a splendid performance, pulling up crowd out in the open near the auditorium. The performance was followed by the visarjan ceremony, where the faculties, staffs and students joined in unison.

Event Report

On September 11, 2024, the fifth day after Ganpati sthaapna, the visarjan was held. The "Maha Aarti," began at 5:00 p.m. It was followed by Team Vibe, Antardhwani's dance vertical’ colourful performance. The performance lasted more than 6 minutes. The evening became a memorable one, with Team Vibe’s energy echoing through the campus. The audience grooved with the beats as Team Vibe performed with full awe.

Post the performance, the Visarjan yatra commenced. The Visarjan yatra was accompanied by an enthusiastic crowd and energetic ‘Dhol’. The entire crowd walked energetically behind ‘Bappa’ making sure the drum beats reach every corner of the campus. The students, faculty, and staff put their best foot forward to give a great send-off to ‘Bappa’ until next year and performed the Visarjan in an eco-friendly manner by submerging the idol in a water body on campus itself.
