  • The event INCEPT 2.0 was organized by SCEI Samarthya, the entrepreneurship cell of SIBM Hyderabad, and was hosted successfully on August 28, 2023, in the lecture theatre. The timings were 11:10 AM–12:40 PM.
  • The event provided practical insights and knowledge on "Turning Ideas into Impactful Realities.
  • The event also helped students learn about the role of the Telangana government in promoting entrepreneurship culture. The government has established T-Hub, a world- class innovation and incubation centre, to support startups. T-Hub offers a variety of resources and services to help startups succeed.
  • The event offered SIBM-H students an opportunity to visit T-Hub facilities for experiential learning. This will give students a chance to see firsthand how a startup accelerator works.
  • The speaker also focused on the possibility of internship and placement opportunities for SIBMH students in the startups incubated under T-Hub. This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the startup ecosystem.
  • The event opened a door for SCEI Samarthya to learn and grow by collaborating with T- Hub and its several subsidiaries. This collaboration will help SCEI Samarthya provide even better support to aspiring entrepreneurs.

SCEI-Samarthya, SIBM Hyderabad's entrepreneurship cell, organized "Incept 2.0" where we invited one guest speaker for the guest talk on the topic Turning Ideas into Impactful Realities". The guest speaker who participated in the discussion was Mr. Srinivas Taluka, Facilities Manager at T-Hub.

The event aimed to facilitate a comprehensive discussion about the activities that have taken place at T-Hub. This included an exploration of its inception, how it was initiated, and how it has supported and empowered various entrepreneurs.

Part 1: Introductory Session

The introduction of the event commenced with a focus on the concept of entrepreneurship, shedding light on the inception of T-Hub. The discussion emphasized the importance of innovation and the consistent drive to explore "what's next. Also, the inauguration of T-Hub was graced by Ratan Tata.

The journey of T-Hub's establishment was explored, highlighting its growth to encompass over 3000+ startups. The event delved into the technical intricacies of T-Hub's functioning, offering insights into how its ecosystem supports and nurtures startups. This includes aspects like mentorship, funding opportunities, collaborative spaces, co-working spaces, and various programs designed to facilitate growth and innovation.

Part 2: The Q&A Session

Carrying forward with the Q&A session, it was an interactive session.

The students inquired about entrepreneurship from different angles. The guest speaker shared their knowledge on a variety of topics. The students also asked questions about enrolling in T-Hub's assistance program. The questions asked during the event included:

How does T-Hub select startups?

What are equity shares and ownership in a company?

How long does it take to implement an idea into a startup?

Part 3: The Felicitation and the Closing

The guest was presented with a token of appreciation from the college by Dr. Kottala Sri Yogi, the faculty member in charge of SCEI-Samarthya. This was followed by a vote of thanks from Vivek Dev (Second in Command of SCEI-Samarthya), which concluded the "INCEPT2.0" event.
