Event Name: Manoranjan

Objective:

The objective of the event is to encourage new students to interact and bond with each other, providing a platform for showcasing talents and creativity, while facilitating a smooth transition into college life through team-building activities. The event aims to fulfil this objective by fostering creativity and teamwork among new students through a fun, interactive event involving dance, singing, fashion walk, an acting.

Outcome:

The students displayed their talents in dance, music, acting, and ramp walk, working together creatively and effectively. They also learned to manage their time by planning and performing within the set limits. Overall, Manojranran was a great platform for developing skills and showcasing talent.

REPORT

Antardhwani, the Cultural Club of SIBM Hyderabad, organized a creative team-building activity that included art forms like dance, music, drama, and ramp walk in connection with induction event for MBA batch 2024-2026. The event, titled Manoranjan, was the first to be hosted under the new leadership of the 2023-2025 batch of students on the evening of June 11th,2024.

The event received 81 registrations, and the participants were divided into nine groups with eight participants in each group. The participants were required to pick three chits. Two chits represented different verticals within Antardhwani: Vibe (Dance), Aaroh (Music), Abhinay (Drama), and Panache (Fashion).

Participants had to perform two art forms associated with the chosen verticals. The third chit contained the names of Bollywood movies, and the participants were required to replicate a performance inspired by the movie and the selected verticals. The participants were assigned senior Points of Contact (POCs) to facilitate the smooth execution of the activity. They were given a time limit of four minutes for the performance, with an additional two minutes for preparation.

The highlight of the event was the participants' enthusiasm in confidently showcasing their talents without hesitation. They demonstrated excellent teamwork and creativity in performances inspired by selected movies. The event was made more engaging and vibrant through interactions between senior and junior batches, as seniors showcased their talents to juniors. The platform also provided an opportunity for non-participants to showcase their talents.

The best-performed team was selected by audience poll. The prize winners were given a token of appreciation by Antardhwani Head -Reetika Bhama and Deputy Head Swarnav Pattnaik. The event concluded by celebrating talents and embracing musical rhythms, dynamic dance beats, heartfelt emotions through dramatics, and an elegant flair for the ramp walk. In summary, Manojranran proved to be an excellent avenue for skill development and talent display.
