Activity Name: MimeLine 1.0
Objective:
The objective of this induction event is to welcome the new batch of juniors into the 7PM Marketing Club in an engaging and fun manner. The activity aims to foster teamwork, enhance communication skills, and introduce participants to creative marketing concepts in an interactive way.
Outcome:
The event successfully enhanced teamwork and communication skills among participants, as they collaborated effectively throughout the activities. It stimulated creative thinking, with individuals finding innovative ways to describe brands and products. The juniors felt welcomed and engaged, fostering a strong sense of belonging within the marketing club. New members gained a practical and memorable introduction to branding and marketing concepts. 7PM- The Marketing Club conducted the MimeLine 1.0 on 11th June 2024 for the MBA Batch 2024-26. The activity was hosted by Chetna and Tanvi Dagade. The activity lasted 40 minutes (7:20 PM – 8:00 PM). 40 students registered and participated in the event.

The induction event for the 7PM Marketing Club commenced with a warm welcome to the new batch of juniors. The session was designed to be both engaging and educational, aiming to integrate the new members into the club while enhancing their teamwork and communication skills through a fun and interactive activity.
Event Flow:
1. Introduction:
Brief introduction of the 7PM Marketing Club and its activities.
Explanation of the event's objective and rules.
Participants were divided into teams of four members each, with one member in each team being blindfolded.
Taglines of various brands/products were written on chits and placed in a bowl.
Each team randomly drew a chit from the bowl containing brand taglines.
The three acting members described the brand/product to the blindfolded member using the given tagline.
One member drew the product/brand on the screen based on the description and wrote the name of the brand.
The team had a maximum of 1.5 minutes to complete the task.
Teams were disqualified if any member used obvious words that directly gave away the product/brand.
Teams were disqualified if they failed to complete the task within the given time.
Teams presented their drawings and the name of the brand/product in front of the judges and other participants.
Accuracy: How accurately the blindfolded member's drawing represented the brand/product.
Time Efficiency: How quickly the team completed the task within the 1.5-minute limit.
Rule Adherence: Ensuring no obvious words were used during the description.
Creativity: The creativity and clarity of the descriptions provided by the team.
First Place: Gift set for the winning team.
Participation: Small tokens for all participants.
The induction event concluded with an awards ceremony where the winning team was recognized for their excellent performance. All participants received small tokens of appreciation for their enthusiastic participation. The event not only provided a platform for the new members to showcase their skills but also instilled a sense of belonging and motivation to contribute actively to the 7PM Marketing Club.
