Summary

Event Name: Open Mic

Objective: To provide an interactive platform for students to put forward their unique talents on stage and realize the importance of balancing academics with extracurricular pursuits.

Outcome: Students were provided a platform where they could voice their ideas and inner thoughts in the form of their art. It provided a night of vibrant entertainment to the students. They unraveled their talents, embracing the valuable lesson that academics alone cannot suffice. The students were able to gel well with their peers and learn to appreciate others art.

InkSleuths- The Literary Committee of SIBM Hyderabad, organized an Open Mic Event, on 26 th July 2024 at the Lecture Theatre (LT). Filled with excitement and vigour of showcasing themselves, students started assembling at 9:30pm. Once settled, all the participants took to the stage, unveiling a sea of talents taking a lot of their peers by shock. The participants were able to perform to their fullest because the audience was actively engaged, allowing participants to share their art and captivate all those who were present.

For many participants, it was their first time performing in front of an audience. Nervous anticipation filled the air as they stepped onto the stage, hearts racing with excitement and anxiety. They shared their poems, shayaris, and songs, pouring their hearts into each performance. The supportive atmosphere helped ease their nerves, allowing them to find their voices. This debut marked a significant and memorable milestone in their creative journeys.

The students had the opportunity to explore their unique talents and discover the concealed abilities of their classmates, fostering a sense of unity. They noticed a diverse array of talents and passions within their fellow peers, creating a tapestry of encouragement and appreciation.

The event ended with a vote of thanks by Team InkSleuths and the students leaving at 11:15pm with happiness and enthusiasm among them
