Objective:

To provide an exposure about the cell with the twist of learnings and enjoyable moments for their academic journey

Outcome:

To welcome and introduce the functioning of the cell to the batch of 2024-2026. This helped them in understanding what Shakti as a cell stands for.

Event Report

The Shakti Women Development and Social Responsibility cell at SIBM Hyderabad orchestrated a compelling induction event for the incoming batch of 2024-2026, titled "Spontaneous Spotlight." Held on June 10, 2024, in the Lecture Theatre, the event aimed to introduce the batch to Shakti’s ethos while fostering creativity and collaboration. Participants were grouped into 7 teams, each consisting of 6 members, who were tasked with creating a storyline from a PowerPoint presentation of images centered around social causes. Given only 4 minutes, the teams showcased remarkable ingenuity in integrating these images into coherent and meaningful narratives that highlighted various societal issues.

The exercise not only facilitated a fun and engaging learning environment but also effectively raised awareness about Shakti and its mission of social responsibility. It provided a platform for the new batch to interact and discuss pertinent problems, thereby enhancing their collective understanding of social impacts. Overall, the "Spontaneous Spotlight" event marked a successful beginning for the new students at SIBM Hyderabad, setting a positive precedent for future engagement and fostering a community-oriented mindset among the participants.
