SCEI-Samarthya hosted the Founders Talk featuring two dynamic entrepreneurs: Mr. Prashant Lingam, co- founder of Bamboo House India, and Mr. Yeshwanth Nag Mocherla, founder of The Thick shake Factory. The event took place in the Convention Hall and commenced at 10:00 AM, aimed at inspiring students to explore entrepreneurial ventures by drawing from the real-life experiences of successful founders.
The event was designed to offer students an opportunity to learn about the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship, with a special emphasis on networking and gaining valuable insights into starting and scaling a business.
The day began with a warm welcome by hosts Saumya and Mohini, followed by an inspiring speech from Dr. Shyamsunder Chitta, Deputy Director of SIBM Hyderabad.
The second session commenced with the introduction of Mr. Yeshwanth Nag Mocherla, founder of The Thick Shake Factory, by the hosts. Mr. Yeshwanth shared his journey of building a leading brand in the food and beverage industry. His address was filled with actionable insights on scaling a business, dealing with competition, and innovating in a crowded market.
Mr. Yeshwanth’s inspiring words emphasized the importance of perseverance, innovation, and remaining adaptable in the dynamic entrepreneurial landscape. His success in building a renowned brand from scratch encouraged students to explore their own ideas and pursue ventures in diverse industries.
The session concluded with another Q&A session, where students actively participated and sought guidance on industry-specific challenges and startup scaling strategies. Mr. Yeshwanth was then felicitated by Dr Shyam Sunder Chitta, concluding a highly impactful and motivating event.

In Stage 1, teams first tested their dexterity with a classic Bottle Flip challenge, followed by a thrilling Balloon Burst where precision and aim are key. In Stage 2, the task involved a creative Letter Search and Word Arrangement, combining treasure hunt elements and puzzle-solving elements. Participants searched for letters to form a word related to discipline, such as – discipline, rules, ragging, and decorum, submerged in water, then assembled and arranged words in specific combinations. The competition was timed, with the fastest team crowned as the winner. The event was around 40 mins long.
